my spine is fine; thank you!

OK, this is a first for me, starting a blog that is.  Not sure what I am getting in to but just thought I would start out by sharing with anyone researching Flatback Syndrome, a little of my story.  I had surgery in 1994 to correct  flatback syndrome that was a result of scoliosis surgery to correct lower lumbar curve with herrington rods.  My flatback slowly developed over a twelve year period after my initial surgery.  Two children later with a lot of discomfort and obvious deformity I decided to have surgery again to correct the problem.  Best decision I ever made.  That was in 1994.  I am now 48 yrs old am still happy with the outcome.  If anyone is suffering from this dabiliating condition, I understand and want you  to know that it can be corrected.
As I said, I am new to blogger and am not sure what I am doing.  I have tried posting comments on other  blogs but never seem to see them posted so that is why I have decided to share my story and offer my support to anyone interested in this topic.
